COMMITTEE MEETING OF CHIDEOCK PLAYERS
HELD AT ON the 23rd APRIL 2009 AT 7.45PM

Welcome
Hilary welcomed everyone to the meeting. She thanked everyone for their kind best wishes to Nick during his recent illness.

Minutes
These were read, agreed and signed.

Matters Arising
We have received a letter from The Bridport News in reply to our complaint about the lack of support from them.

Val mentioned that the ‘Friends of the Museum’ had also had problems with getting information into the Newspaper.

Treasurers Report
We have £1115.54 in the bank and £52.44 in petty cash.
We have had a refund of the license fee from Samuel French . Some ticket money for Hayfever has been refunded. Costumes, props, backstage, printing and hall rehearsal charges has also been paid.

Some people haven’t claimed their ticket money – Catherine was aske to put something into the Parish magazine.

Hay Fever
Unfortunately this was postponed due to illness of two cast members. Due to cast commitments it was decided to put on the plahy on 11th, 12th and 13th March 2010

AGM
The AGM will be on the 6th July. Catherine will send out a newsletter with this information to all members.

Awards
It was decided to award ‘The Sarah’ to Kris Tozer and the Herbert Winter Cup to Jane Tamone.

Any Other Business
Sydney Gale House have asked if we can perform a short play, skit etc for them. Hilary is to write back and say it is possible but we need to think of something we can do. Catherine was asked to put this information into the Parish magazine.

Val visited St.Mary’s school and it has been decided that she will work with children with special needs – she has just had her CRB check and just needs to confirma date.

There being no other business the meeting closed at 9.15pm – Val was thanked for her hospitality.
