Chairman’s Welcome
Hilary welcomed everyone to the meeting.

Correspondence
A letter of resignation from the committee received from Taz Moores
An email from Roger Miles asking about Chideock Family History – Catherine to reply

Minutes of the Last Meeting
These were read, agree and signed.

Matters Arising
£15.00 was sent to the Parish Magazine.
The summer party will now take place on the 14th July
The Dressing room will now be tidied up on the 10th June by Catherine, Hilary and Jane.

Treasurers Report

Expenses incurred due to the postponement of ‘Sandcastles’ have been paid due to a donation from ‘The Chideock Village Trust’. Catherine will write to Chris Walliker to thank them.

A donation of £60.00 was given to St. Mary’s School as payment for rehearsals.

Directors Report

The play will now take place on the 19th, 20th and 21st July. Debra is taking part. Natalie is unable to take part and Taz Moores will take her part. Nick will take Richard’s part as he will be away.
Myrtle is unable to do the teas but there are plenty of helpers.

Catherine will sort out the advertising again. Nick will put an advert in the Parish Magazine.

Pantomine

There will a read-through of the pantomime on the 23rd May at Moira’s Foot Health practice in Chancery lane.

Summer Party

This will be at Seahill House, Seatown on the 14th July. There will be drink and food and all attending will be asked to contribute £5.00 per person – free for children.
Jane will sort out the food and Catherine the drink. Further details will be decided at the AGM.

Summer Fete

The cider makers are organizing a Summer Fete on the 28th July. They want the Chideock Players to run a stall. Many suggestions were made. Nick will contact them to say we will do something, final details to be decided later.

The Herbert Winter Cup

Hilary proposed that Sarah Burge be the recipient of the cup this year. This was agreed. Hilary will let Gwyneth Winter know as she is leaving the area.

Christmas Dinner

This will be on the 7th December at The George Chideock. They will do a hot buffet for £10.00 per head.

Any Other Business

Catherine will send a card and Argos voucher for £15.00 to Alyssa who is getting married in June.

Catherine will send out a Summer Newsletter which will inform all members of the relevant dates of the AGM etc.

The next meeting will be at the AGM in July.

There being no other business the meeting closed at 2130hrs.
