A Special Meeting held at 26 Ridwood, Chideock on 25th November 1970.
AOB - It was resolved that as decimalisation would be in
operation by the time of the next production in March 1971, the following
charges for seats should be made:-
Rows A to E inclusive 30p
Rows F to K inclusive 20p
AGM at The Village Hall, Chideock on 10th May 1971
The basic lighting improvements had now been carried out and comprised the control box with switchboard and other controls, two spotlights, one floodlight, intercommunication equipment and re-wiring at a total cost of £221.
Report of Bridport & District Arts Society Rep: Miss Baillon reported on the Society's activities anf the possibility of the Society purchasing the Methodist Chapel, Bridport, for a small theatre and Arts Society.

Report of Bridport & District Arts Society Rep: Mr Lunt reportedthat it was still hoped that sufficent funds would be raised to go ahead with the purchase of the Methodist Chapel for an Arts Society theatre.
AOB - A hearty vote of thanks was given to Miss Jo Ballion for kindly designing and donating the new crest which whas now been erected above the stage.
